Terms of Use

This page sets out the conditions under which you may browse the Kelly H. Milligan catalogue, order limited edition prints, and use the content published on this site. Please read these terms carefully before placing an order or downloading any material.

1. Scope of Service

kellyhmilligan.com is an editorial archive and sales catalogue for original photographic works by Kelly H. Milligan. The site presents limited edition prints, handmade photobooks, engravings, and independent publications focused on urban landscape, vernacular architecture, and industrial memory in the United Kingdom. All works are produced in small numbered editions, signed by the artist, and shipped with a certificate of authenticity and a technical specification sheet.

2. Orders and Edition Numbers

Each print is assigned a specific edition number at the time of production. When you place an order, the edition number you receive is allocated from the remaining available copies in that series. We do not guarantee a particular number unless it is explicitly confirmed in writing before purchase. Once an edition is sold out, no further copies of that size or paper type will be produced.

3. Copyright and Usage Restrictions

All photographs, texts, and design elements on this site remain the intellectual property of Kelly H. Milligan unless otherwise stated. Purchasing a print grants you ownership of the physical object only. It does not transfer reproduction rights. You may not scan, copy, reprint, or digitally distribute the artwork for commercial purposes without prior written consent. Personal display in a private home is of course permitted.

4. Condition Descriptions and Colour Accuracy

We describe each piece as accurately as possible, including paper type, toning, and any visible characteristics of the print. Because gelatin silver prints are handmade, slight variations in tone and density may occur between copies within the same edition. These variations are inherent to the process and are not considered defects. Screen displays may also differ from the physical print; we recommend reviewing the technical sheet before purchase.

5. Shipping and Handling

Orders are packed in archival-grade materials and shipped with tracked delivery across the country. We take care to protect each piece during transit, but we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by postal services or for damage that occurs after the parcel has been signed for. If a print arrives damaged, please contact us within seven days of delivery with photographic evidence so we can arrange a replacement or refund.

6. Liability and Limitation

While we strive to keep all information on this site accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that descriptions, edition counts, or availability figures are free from error. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the use of this site or the purchase of a work is limited to the amount you paid for that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or damage to reputation.

7. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to this site, or to cancel an order, if we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity, misuse of the catalogue, or a breach of these terms. In such cases we will notify you by email and, where an order has been paid for, issue a full refund within fourteen days.

8. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practice, legal requirements, or the way the catalogue operates. The version published on this page is the one that applies at the moment you place an order. Significant changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.

9. Contact for Legal Enquiries

If you have a question about these terms, the rights attached to a purchased work, or any other legal matter, you can reach us at info@kellyhmilligan.com or by post at 656 Knight Court, West Joanne, HX3 0NS. We aim to respond within five working days.
